FUSION

FUSION is a peer-to-peer mentoring program that is run in conjunction with Newtown High School which pairs pre-screened sophomores with incoming freshmen for one full school year. The goal of this program is to make the transition into Newtown High School easy, fun and exciting for incoming freshmen. The program incorporates team building exercises, prevention of underage drinking and built in academic support during meeting times. Additionally, matches also participate in community service activities, academics, sports and attend social activities together.
