NYFS is proud to have a Medical Director double board certified in Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) on our team. Both individuals provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management to NYFS counseling clients who might benefit from the introduction of medication to enhance their treatment success.

Please be aware there is a national shortage of stimulant medications, which is affecting the turnaround time for prescription refills. If you receive medication management services at NYFS, your prescriber will be having a conversation with you regarding alternatives should this shortage affect your current medication regiment.
If you don’t have an upcoming appointment scheduled with your prescriber, please either visit the front desk or give us a call (203 - 270 - 4335) in order to get an appointment scheduled as soon as possible.
